Just stock piling now for baby and was wondering which is best, a moses basket or a small cot. Some people say why bother getting a mosses basket when they are going to end up in a cot what do you guys think.

it really is your own personal choice, but for me i would opt for a mosses basket rather then a cot.  Babies like to be snuggled up and not left in the open too much.  A mosses basket would be smaller and make them feel more secure.  Plus a cot would be smaller then a cot/bed and you will get more use from a cot/bed as it will last longer.  I would go for a mosses basket and then a cot/bed.

Hi,
I agree with previous message.I've used a mosses basket fo the first 4 to 6 months with all my 3 babies.Babies feel more secure in a smaller space. Also from a safety point of view they have less room to move around and are therefore less likely to end but UNDER bedclothing, which can be dangerous.A bed/cot is the way to go after that, but remember t place your baby with babies feet at the bootom of the cot until they are around a year old and can move around independently.Have fun shopping!
