Fluid, as much water as he will take.  Water as apposed to any other kind of drink because some fruit juices will dehydrate.  Wet food/ cold food, cucumber, apples.  some foods can be very drying and tough to pass like carbs, leave off the heavy starchy stuff for a while like white bread etc.

The other thing to note is that if he/she is always too warm they will loose too much water with sweat.

If you want to try a little yogurt, at 5 months they are nearing the age where you can introduce dairy, a little yogurt often results in loose stools.

If he/she has not passed feaces in about 24/48 hours go to your GP, they might give her/him an enema.

Some ppl also say that letting them roll around with no nappy can help to stimulate them to go.

I hope that helped
